Peoples Electric Bus Service Bahria Town Karachi

Good news for Bahria Town Karachi residents and all visitors who were frustrated because of no transport services between Karachi and Bahria Town, With the collaboration of Bahria Town Karachi Management, Sind Government and Sind Mass Transit Authority the People’s Electric Bus Service is started today 14th April 2023. The latest model of these Electric buses offers an extremely comfortable journey with a very nominal fare for the benefit of Residents and Visitors. 

Electric Bus Karachi Route

ELECTRIC BUS BAHRIA TOWN KARACHI ROUTE

At the moment Electric Bus Karachi route is limited between Malir Halt and Bahria Town Karachi. Soon there will be developments and new areas like Saddar, Numaish, Seaview, and Clifton will be added. For now, the official route is limited for testing purposes to make sure the bus service facilitates the Bahria Town Karachi residents and visitors who need to commute to the city on a daily basis.

Electric Bus routes and stops are mentioned below.

  •  The first stop and starting point is Precinct 21 where their terminal is made right beside the car station. 
  •  2nd stop will be at Precinct 11a. 
  •  3rd stop will be under Ali flyover. 
  •  4th stop is infront of Iqra University.
  •  5th stop is near Bahria Town Karachi International Hospital.
  •  6th & last stop is at Carnival Main Gate Bahria Town Karachi
Similarly, Six stops are on a return to Precinct 21 Electric Bus Terminal.

Peoples Bus Karachi Timings

Peoples Electric Bus Karachi timings will be 7:00 am To 8:00 pm.

  • The first trip of the day will begin at 7 am from both the Bahria Town Karachi and Malir Halt terminals. 
  • From 7am to 9am, the bus will depart from each terminal every 20 minutes. 
  • From 9am onwards, the bus will depart every 30 minutes until the last trip at 8 pm.
  • During Ramadan, there will be a break for Iftar from 5pm to 7pm. The buses will resume operation at 7:30pm.

Electric Bus will resume services throughout the week without any gap. These timings are well planned to facilitate everyone even the residents who want to commute inside Bahria Town Karachi.

Peoples Bus Service Ticket Price

Rs.100/- is the ticket price of Peoples Bus Service For Bahria Town Karachi. The ticket counter will be present at the home stations of the bus. Passengers who are willing to travel can buy a ticket on spot. Soon there will be a card system for the convenience of passengers to easily buy a membership card for a month. The card will definitely be a great service for Job personnel who commute daily from Bahria Town Karachi. 

Peoples Bus Service Station (Terminal)

For Bahria Town Karachi Peoples Electric Bus Service Station is Near Car Service Station and the other is at Malir Halt. There are some small stations throughout the route like Malik Cantt Checkpost, Model Colony Etc.

    A pertinent question for the management of the EV buses operating to and from BTK. Why don’t the buses have Sohrab Goth stops and beyond, within their routes? All those I’ve asked, for opinions on this topic, voiced their similar concerns, and affirmed the greater benefit being given to passengers and commuters alike, if this route were somehow adjusted within the existing schedule, to and from BTK. Couldn’t BTK management please consider this fervent plea?

    Dear EV Team BTK – Usually Universities’ Points start from 7am in the morning from Malir halt and a lot of students go to CBM Korangi from BTK, Kindly please start the first time from 6:00 am in the morning so the students get to benefit from this service to get their universities points and give some relaxation to the parents who live in BTK, many thanks

    Today I got onto the EV-2 near Malir Halt, I saw the conductor Named Imran said , he is out of tickets so he won’t be providing tickets to anyone. So whoever going to board will not be counted. I counted more than 70 peoples got onto the bus and ticketed without issuing a ticket, so I strongly doubt that all of that money will go to the bus service. It may be the start of the corruption that can lead the industry to have losses and finally termination. For your reference I have added the Picture and Bus number was EV-30. It started November 7th at 5:40 pm at malir halt and ends inside where he started to distribute 50Rs tickets. On asking why he didn’t give us two of those , he said it is not allowed to them.

    They used to fill the buss like W12 which is not acceptable as a electrical service the person’s from malir to usmania and BHARIA TOWN which take rides like workers from different areas and culture would also have no manners to talk or behave like a traveller there some also used harassment for girls and boys using threating words and miss behave please may you have to take an actual action about the over filling the buss
    As a living resident I used to take buss daily but at night shift they have literally no manners to talk and buss conductor are also very bad and a miss bheviar person
