Bahria Town Karachi Announces Slaughterhouses Arrangements for Eid al-Adha
The Bahria Town Karachi Maintenance and Services Department has announced arrangements for slaughterhouses in BTK for the upcoming Eid al-Adha.
Two Cattle Pens and Slaughterhouses Established
Two cattle pens and slaughterhouses have been established in Precinct 01 and Precinct 19 to facilitate BTK residents for Eid al-Adha Qurbani. The designated areas will provide the following facilities:
- Shade (tent only)
- Fodder
- Water
- Cleaning of the area
- Security
BTK Slaughterhouse Charges
There are charges for keeping animals before Qurbani at the BTK-provided facility, which includes fodder and water. These charges are per day.
Butchering, Fodder and Water Charges
There are charges for butchers, slaughtering, fodder, and water. These charges vary depending on the animal. Here is the table:

Important Points For Bahria Residents:
The following are some important points for Bahria Town Karachi Residents from Bahria Town Management to keep in mind:
- Keeping animals in houses, apartments, shops, or offices is strictly prohibited. Defaulters will be penalized. PKR 30,000 Per Animal.
- Bahria Town management will not be responsible if an animal falls sick or dies in the BTK cattle pen.
- Charges of fodder and slaughter will be paid in advance. Shifting the animal from the carrier OR transport to the cattle pen site will be the responsibility of the animal owner.
- The BTK will provide fodder, and hire animal caretaker contractors. However, the contractor will ensure the provision of water around the clock.
- Only the owner of the animal, with a maximum of one person, will be allowed to visit the cattle pen to see the animal inside the slaughterhouse premises.
